William Carey University

Wayne Ross is no stranger to William Carey University and the Hattiesburg area.

Ross first walked onto the William Carey campus in the 1960's to help Coach John O'Keefe workout out WCU Hall of Famer Mike Necaise.

In the early 1970's, Wayne enrolled at WCU and began his lifelong friendship with Bobby Halford, Wally Hartel, and others. This man has always bled Red & Black and it has been a family affair for the Ross family.  His son Daniel, probably holds the record for most WCU Baseball Camps attended and games served as a Basketball Ball Boy. Like many in the Pine Belt, whenever we need help with anything, Mr. Wayne is always there for WCU.

Wayne began working at Commercial Stationery in 1981 and purchased the company in 1996. He is married to wife Melinda and has two children, Ashely and Daniel. Wayne serves on several local boards including the FCA and YMCA- Hattiesburg among others and is a member of Temple Baptist Church.
