Hall of Fame
A graduate of Enterprise High School, Coleman played baseball at Carey from1979-82 for John Stephenson. During his WCU career, Coleman hit .331 with 14 Home runs, 21 doubles, 9 triples, 84 RBI's and recorded 81 stolen bases. Coleman was named All-Conference and All-District twice and was a NAIA Honorable Mention All-American. In 1982 Coleman was drafted by the San Diego Padres and played five years hitting .301 with 48 doubles, 17 triples and 149 RBI's. After leaving the minors Rickey worked for 20 years with the Cook County Juvenile System in Illinois and  is currently working with Illinois Work Well Program.
