HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – In a field heavily dominated by NCAA teams the William Carey Men's & Women's Cross Teams held their own with the men placing 40^th and the women taking 37^th.
 
For the guys, Matthew McGuire led the way with a time of 26:26 with Luke Skinner finishing with a time of 26:38. Julius Giller was the next Crusader to cross the finish line with a time of 27:35. Rounding out the squad were Noah Moudy who finished with a time of 28:47 and Niklas Moilanen who ran the 8K in 29:17.
 
The ladies were led by Kristina Stojanovic who placed 202 out of 367 runners with a time of 19:01. Maria Tirado was the next to cross with a time of 19:18 with Sydney Moudy finishing the 5K in 20:08. Coming in with a time of 20:28 was Hannah Mitchell while Macy Robertson came in with a time of 20:46. Finishing things off were Virginia Tirado (21:12), Audrey Waller (21:32), and Aurora Latimer (21:50).
 
Both squads are back in action on September 20, as they head to Oakville, Ala. to take part in the Firehawk Invite.
