CLINTON, Miss. - The WCU men's and women's XC teams competed in their final meet of the regular season at the Watson Collegiate Classic hosted by Mississippi College.
 
On the men's side, Luke Skinner provided the best finish among the Crusaders, finishing in 17th place with a time of 25:51 in the 8K event. Matthew McGuire was the next to cross in 26:17 for a 31st place finish. Santiago Vazquez finished in 26:33 and Noah Moody rounded out the Crusader runners, who crossed in 28:09.
 
The ladies posted a third place finish with Kristina Stojanovic finishing ahead of all NAIA runners in the 6K event. Stojanovic posted a time of 22:09 to take 5th place. Coming in with a time of 22:42 was Maria Tirado to finish in 9th place with Sydney Moudy taking 14th place with a time of 23:09.
 
Hannah Mitchell completed the race in a time 24:03 for a 34th place finish while Macy Robertson finished in 25:05. Next to cross the finish line was Audrey Waller in a time of 26:01 followed by Virginia Tirado crossing in 26:15. Rounding out the squad was Aurora Latimer finishing with a time of 26:54.
 
Next up will be the SSAC XC Championship on Friday, November 7 in Oakville, Ala
