MOBILE, Ala. – The William Carey Women's Tennis Team advanced to the second round of the 2023 NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship with a 4-0 victory over Oakland City (Ind.) Tuesday morning at the Mobile Tennis Center.

The Lady Crusaders secured the first point of the match taking the point at doubles with victories #1 & #2 doubles.  WCU wasted no time in securing the win with Sunny Logan winning 6-0, 6-0 at #6 singles to make it 2-0.  Tiffany Chang took the point at #3 singles with a 6-0, 6-0 victory with Malak Abarkane finishing things off with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at #4 singles.

The Lady Crusaders are back in action tomorrow as they take on SCAD Savannah at 9:00 pm.

The men's tennis team will get their tournament underway tomorrow as well as they take on Westcliff (Calif.) at 1:00 pm.
