TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The WCU women's cross-country team finished strong at the NAIA Cross Country Championship, earning 30th place with a total of 705 points.
Kristina Stojanovic led the Lady Crusaders, completing the 6K race in 22:41, which secured her 79th place.
Maria Tirado also made her mark, finishing in the top 100 with a time of 22:53.
Following Stojanovic and Tirado,
Sydney Moudy crossed the finish line in 24:15, while
Hannah Mitchell and
Virginia Tirado both clocked in at 24:44, with Mitchell finishing just ahead. Rounding out the team,
Macy Robertson finished in 25:20, and
Audrey Waller completed the race in 26:59.
Representing William Carey in the individual competition,
Matthew McGuire completed the 8K course in 26:25, earning a 165th place finish.
