MT. VERNON, Ga. - #1 William Carey Women's Soccer left little to doubt, as they defeated Brewton-Parker 12-0 Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Crusaders scored early and often as they netted 10 first half goals. The first goal would come in the first minute off the foot of
Maria Azarias with
Mariangela Jimenez netting the second goal in the fifth minute. A PK goal by
Karen Vilau in the 11
th minute would make it 3-0 Carey.

Azarias would get the hat trick with back to back goals in the 13
th minute and in the 18
th minute
Christina Salmon made it 6-0 WCU. Â Jimenez would pick up her second straight hat trick with goals in the 20
th and 23
rd minute. The final goals of the half would come from Salmon in the 24
th minute and
Kristina Decker in the 39
th minute.

The Lady Crusaders would finish things off in the second half with goals by
Zalma Torres in the 51
st minute and
Taylor Girouard in the 79
th minute.

Carey is back in action Thursday, October 5, as they take on #20 Georgia Gwinnett in non-conference action. Kick-off is slated for 7:00 pm at
Danny Owens Field.
