MONTGOMERY, Ala. – #5 William Carey Women's Soccer left little to doubt Tuesday afternoon, scoring six first half goals in route to an 8-0 victory over Rienhardt University, at the YMCA Emory Folmer Complex.

Just eight minutes into the contest Maria Azarias found Julia Herbst for the first goal of the day.  Over the next four minutes Lauren Jones and Karen Vilau made it 3-0 WCU.  In the 22^nd minute Mariangela Jimenez connected with Zalma Torres and in the 27^th minute Azarias scored the fifth goal of the half.  The final goal of the half would come from Torres just before time expired.

The Lady Crusaders were not done and in the second half Alexis Arnoult and Christina Salmon added the final goals of the day in the 50^th and 68^th minute.

Carey is back in action Saturday, August 26, as they take on Louisiana Christian University.  Kick-off is slated for 6:00 pm at Danny Owens Field.
