HATTIESBURG, Miss. - #10 William Carey Men's Soccer advanced to the semi-finals of the SSAC Championship with a 4-0 victory over UT-Southern, Thursday afternoon at Danny Owens Field.
 
Both Teams were locked in a stalemate for 30 minutes until Carey broke the deadlock with a goal by Caoimhin McConnell.  Less than three minutes later Alessandro Villarreal would put WCU up 2-0.
 
The 2-0 lead would carry into the second half until Jamie Wynne found the back of the goal in the 55^th minute.  The Crusaders would put the game away in the 74^th minute when Jacobo Arango found Reon Dawes for the final margin.
 
WCU is back in action Wednesday, November 8, as they head to Montgomery, Ala. where they will take on Dalton State.  Kick-off is scheduled for 7:00 pm at the Emory Folmar YMCA Soccer Complex.
