MONTGOMERY, Ala. - #1 William Carey Women's Soccer improved to 7-0 in conference play with a 8-1 victory over Faulkner University Saturday afternoon.
 
The Lady Crusaders struck first in the 14^th minute with a goal by Maria Azarias.  Karen Vilau followed in the 21^st minute to make it 2-0 Carey with Maddie Davis finding the back of the net in 27^th minute.  Azarias netted the final goal for WCU in the 33^rd minute with the lone goal for the Eagles also coming in the 33^rd minute.
 
Virginia Mesa started the second half scoring with a goal in the 52^nd minute.  Julia Herbst would make it 6-1 Lady Crusaders with a goal in 64^th minute with Christina Salmon finishing things off with goals in the 71^st & 76^th minute.
 
The Lady Crusaders are back in action Thursday, October 12, as they take on Life University in SSAC action.  Kick-off is slated for 5:00 pm at Danny Owens Field.
