SHREVEPORT, La. – The William Carey Men's Soccer Team overcame a goal deficit to defeat LSU-Shreveport 2-1, Saturday morning at The Swamp.

The Pilots took the first half lead on a goal by Maurice Theart in the 34^th minute.  It would not be until the second half, in the 65^th minute, that the Crusaders would even the match on a goal by Juan Ruiz Cabello.  With time winding down Carey completed the comeback, as Sacha Vandersteene knocked home the game winner in the 83^rd minute.

WCU is back in action Monday, as they take on Texas College in non-conference action.  Kick-off is scheduled for 12:00 pm at Danny Owens Field.
