ALEXANDRIA, La. - #19 William Carey Men's Soccer picked up a non-conference win Wednesday afternoon, defeating LSU-Alexandria 5-0, at General Field.

The Crusaders wasted no time taking control of the match.  Nine minutes into the contest Sacha Vandersteene headed home a free kick from Djordje Djukovic to make 1-0 Carey.  Less than twenty seconds later Jamie Wynne put WCU up 2-0.

Coming out of the break, Brandon Bermingham stretched the Carey lead to three, knocking home a penalty kick.  Djukovic finished off the scoring for the Crusaders with goals in the 65^th & 70^th minute.

WCU is back in action Saturday, as they head to Shreveport, La. to take on LSU-Shreveport.  Kick-off is scheduled for 10:00 am.
