HATTIESBURG, Miss. - #14 William Carey Men's Soccer defeated Brewton-Parker 1-0 Saturday afternoon, at Danny Owens Field.

The Brewton-Parker defense was up to a challenge against the Crusader offense weathering 24 shots with 10 on goal.  However, in the 38^th minute Caoimhin McConnell played a ball into the box and Brandon Bermingham headed home what would be the game winner.  The Carey defense held the one goal lead limiting the Barons to just one shot for the match.

WCU is back in action Thursday, October 13, as the take on Faulkner University in conference action.  Kick-off is scheduled for 7:30 pm at Danny Owens Field.
