HATTIESBURG, Miss. - #12 William Carey Men's Soccer improved to 8-1-3 overall with a 4-1 victory over Faulkner University, Thursday night at Danny Owens Field.

Nicolo Lai put Carey on the board with a goal in the 9^th minute and two minutes later Carlos Hernando found Jamie Wynne who made it 2-0 WCU.  The Eagles cut into the lead with a goal by Antoine Marques in the 13^th minute.  The Crusaders would take a two goal lead again before the half, as Roberto Rangel played a ball into the box for Brandon Bermingham who headed it home. 

WCU kept up the offensive pressure in the second half but could not connect until Djordje Djukovic found the back of the net in the 88^th minute for the final goal.

The Crusaders are back in action Saturday as they take on Fisk University in non-conference action.  Kick-off is scheduled for 2:00 pm at Danny Owens Field.
