HATTIESBURG, Miss. - #14 William Carey Men's Soccer took care of business Thursday night, defeating the Knights of Middle Georgia 4-0, at
Danny Owens Field.
The Crusaders got things going, as
Alessandro Villarreal found
Brandon Bermingham in the 16
th minute to put Carey up 1-0. Four minutes later, Villarreal once again found Bermingham to give Carey a two goal lead.Â
WCU would add their third goal of the half when Bermingham found
Reon Dawes in the 23rd minute. Carey would put the game away in the second half on a goal by
Jamie Wynne in the 69
th minute and WCU defense did the rest limiting the Knights to just one shot on goal.
Carey is back in action Saturday, as they take on Brewton-Parker College in SSAC action. Kick-off is slated for 4:00 pm at
Danny Owens Field.
