HATTIESBURG, Miss. – William Carey Archery Head Coach Johnnie Stinson, was presented the AIMS High Point Award by the MS Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks Foundation at a ceremony this morning at the Ben Waddle Complex.
Coach Stinson was presented this award for going above and beyond all expectations while serving as a volunteer to enhance and build The Archery in Mississippi Schools Program.
"Myself, and many other coaches, dedicate our lives to serving archers of all ages to continue the sport of archery," said Stinson. "We do what we do because of the passion we have for teaching archers and seeing them become successful in archery and in life. It is nice when we're recognized for the hard work, but, that is not why we do it."
