Archery Performs Well at MS South-Central Collegiate Regionals

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – William Carey archery hosted the USA Archery MS South-Central Collegiate Target Regionals this past weekend, with several WCU archers placing Top-3.

In the men's compound bow Trey Davis (SR/Oak Grove, Miss.) took first place while Noah Cuevas (SO/Gulfport, Miss.) finished second.  For the women's compound bow Kenna Stuart (SO/Hattiesburg, Miss.) took third place.

For the men in bowhunter, Ben Bellew (FR) placed third while for the women, Leanna Blakeslee (FR) and Ava Rayborn finished first and third.  In the barebow, Dakota Platt (SR/Jayess, Miss.) would take first place.

In the team competition, the team of Bellew, Tanner May (JR), and Zachary Stinger finished second in bowhunter.  The duo of Stuart and Davis took second in compound with Blakeslee and Bellew finishing second in bowhunter.
