Sean Peoples, from Donegal, Ireland, brings extensive experience and a strong educational foundation to the William Carey Men’s Soccer program. He holds multiple coaching credentials, including FAI Kickstart 1 & 2, FAI 4v4 & 7v7, and United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeping Level 1 & 2 certifications.
 
Sean began his soccer management journey in 2017 with Jones College, serving as a manager for two years before joining the William Carey Men’s Soccer staff in 2019. His contributions have grown steadily over the years, culminating in his appointment as head coach of the reserve team in 2023.
 
Academically, Sean holds an Associate of Science (AS) from Jones College (2018), a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation from William Carey University (2021), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from William Carey University (2023), and a Specialist degree in Interscholastic Athletic Administration (IAA). He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership at William Carey University.
 
Now entering his seventh season with the Crusaders, Sean has played a key role in winning multiple Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) titles, maintaining the program’s consistent run of NAIA national championship appearances, including last year’s NAIA semifinal appearance.
