Originally from Sapporo, Japan, Marcus Munby joined the William Carey University Men’s Soccer program in 2026 as the Graduate Assistant Goalkeeper Coach. Prior to beginning his coaching career, Marcus competed as a goalkeeper for four years at the NCAA collegiate level, where he developed a strong understanding of the technical, tactical, and mental demands of the position.

Marcus is passionate about developing goalkeepers and creating a competitive training environment that emphasizes technique, decision-making, consistency, and confidence. His coaching philosophy focuses on preparing goalkeepers to perform at the highest level while fostering growth both on and off the field. As he begins his first season with the Crusaders, Marcus looks forward to contributing to the continued success and development of the program.
