Callum Harley, hailing from Newcastle, England, brings experience as a player and a coach to the William Carey Men’s Soccer program. With a solid foundation in coaching education, he holds FA Goalkeeping Level 1 and FA Level 1 certifications.
Callum's journey in soccer began at Newcastle United FC Academy Youth setup and playing for Northern League side Whitley Bay FC in the EBAC Northern League and FA Cup before moving over to America. He coached youth Goalkeepers for Newcastle United Foundation from 2016 to 2018 and subsequently volunteered his 2024 summer season as a Goalkeeper Coach for HFC's inaugural USL2 season
In terms of playing experience in the US, Callum competed at Jones College from 2018 to 2019, followed by stints at Saginaw Valley State University from 2020 to 2021 and William Carey University in 2022.
Education-wise, Callum earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree from Jones College in 2019 and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation from William Carey University in 2023. He continued his academic journey and is currently pursuing a Masters in Interscholastic Athletic Administration (IAA).
Entering his 3rd season with the Crusaders, Callum has played a vital role in the team's consistent appearances in the NAIA national championship.
