YPSILANTI, Mich. – No. 10 William Carey finish tied 6^th at the 2025 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship.
 
The Crusaders opened the tournament posting a 309, 21 over par. Despite shooting their worst round of the tournament, Carey still led all SSAC teams and finished the day in 6^th overall. Taamtond Nivasananda led WCU with a first round score of 75 (+3) to end the day in ninth place. Play was suspended late on day 1 due to lack of day light and golfers were left to finish round one on Wednesday.
 
WCU improved on their day 1 performance, moving up one spot to 5^th. The Crusaders posted a second-round score of 305 (+17). Pattaramon Ruangrung posted a team best even par 72 on the day, helping the Crusaders climb the table. Ruangrung's even par helped her surge up the leader board from 57th to 22^nd place.
 
William Carey and Dalton State were the only two SSAC teams to advance to the third round of the NAIA Women's Golf National Tournament. Loyola (LA.), the only other SSAC team in the tournament, failed to make the cut.
 
Day 3 saw the third different Crusader post a team best score for the round. This time it was Gracie Bloom who led the Crusaders in individual scoring. Bloom posted the teams best score of the tournament, shooting a 1 under par 71. WCU finished the day tied for 5^th with Texas Wesleyan and SCAD Savananah (GA.). The day also saw WCU post their best score of the tournament, shooting a combined 302 (+15).
 
Day 4 and the final day of the tournament saw the Crusaders clinch a 6^th place finish. Bloom continued her day 3 form to lead the Crusaders on the day. Bloom posted a team best 75 (+3) and posted WCU's best overall score for the tournament, finishing 18^th overall.
 
William Carey led all SSAC teams in the tournament, finishing two strokes and two spots above Dalton State who finished 8^th.
