GREENVILLE, Ala. – No. – 17 William Carey posted rounds of 295, 285, & 299 to finish in second place at the 2025 SSAC Men's Golf Championship.
Day one saw the Crusaders end the day in fourth place, as
Diego Leslie fired a one under par 71 to end the day in a tie for fifth place. Finishing just outside the top ten in a tie for eleventh was
Hunter Bell and
Alessio Graziani with a one over 73.
Carey came out on Wednesday, firing the lowest round of the day with a three under par to move into second place, six shots off leader Dalton State. Graziani paced WCU on the day with a three under par to move up seven spots to fourth place.
Bell also posted a round of under par with a two under to move into sixth place. Ongsa Booncharn saw himself move up leader board as well into eleventh place with a three under 69.
On the final day, the Crusaders maintained their hold on second place. Unfortunately, they were not able to catch leader Dalton State after they posted a tournament record eight under par.
Bell maintained his six-place finish with an even par in the final round to end the tournament with a one under par. Graziani stumbled a bit, falling three spots to seventh with a four over 76. Booncharn continued his climb up the leader board, moving into eighth place with a one under 71 with
Ethan Holway going from 21
st to 13
th with a two under 70.
