MOBILE, Ala. – The William Carey Women's Tennis Team wrapped up a two match road swing, falling 4-3 to #4 Middle Georgia State on Friday and a 7-0 win over Blue Mountain Christian on Saturday.
Against the Knights, the Lady Crusaders would take the early lead taking the doubles point but MGA would even the match with a win at #4 singles and take the lead with a win at #3 singles.
Sunny Logan would tie the match at two all with a 6-1, 6-2 win at #5 singles. The Knights would retake the lead with a win at #2 singles and seal the victory, taking the point at #6 singles.
On Saturday against the Toppers, WCU would quickly take the lead winning the doubles point with
Malak Abarkane winning at #6 singles. Logan Would make it 3-0 Carey with a 6-0, 6-0 win at #5 singles with
Victoria Vieten sealing the win with a 6-0, 6-3 victory at #1 singles. Li-Hsien Hin and
Isabella Lechuga would also win their matches.
Carey is back in action Thursday, March 28, as they host Mobile in SSAC action.
