Box Score HATTIESBURG, Miss. - #6 William Carey Men's Soccer fell to #2 Dalton State College 2-1 Saturday afternoon at Danny Owens Field.
 
The Crusaders struck first just minutes into the contest, as Jamie Wynne found the back of the net with Reon Dawes picking up the assist.  From there both teams continued their attack and in the 33^rd minute DSC netted the equalizer.
 
Over the next 50 minutes both defenses were in lock down mode.  However, The Crusaders found themselves at a disadvantage playing without two players for the final 12 minutes.  The Carey defense held strong weathering the Roadrunner attack but in the 86^th minute Dalton State produced the game winner on a free kick.
 
WCU is back in action Saturday, October 21, as they take on #11 Mobile in SSAC action.  Kick-off is slated for 4:00 pm at Danny Owens Field.
