Both teams were locked in from the start but the Running Eagles would get the first half lead on a free kick by Danny DeLorijn in the 32nd minute.

It would not be until the 66th minute that another goal would be scored.  Brandon Bermingham would find Joaquin Bermejillo to even the match at one all.  Twenty minutes later Bermingham would put the Crusaders up 2-1 but the lead would be short lived as Life evened the match back up less than a minute later.  Over final minutes the defenses held strong ending the match in a draw.

Carey is back in action Sunday, October 2, as they stay on the road to take on Dalton State College.  Kick-off is slated for 3:00 pm.
