ORANGE BEACH, Ala. - #5 William Carey Women's Soccer season came to an end, as they fell to #4 Spring Arbor Thursday morning, in quarterfinal action of the NAIA National Championship.
The lone goal of the game came as Lexi Ponstein stole the ball at the top box and knocked it home in the seventh minute. Despite holding a 27-11 advantage in shots taken, the Spring Arbor keeper made 11 saves to preserve the win.
The Lady Crusaders end the season with a 16-3-2 overall record.
