MONTGOMERY, Ala. - #5 William Carey Women's Soccer left little to doubt in their semi-final match-up against Faulkner University. Defeating the Eagles 9-0 Wednesday morning in the SSAC Championship at the Emory Folmer YMCA Complex.

Julia Herbst found Maria Azarias just ten minutes into the contest to make it 1-0 Carey.  Mariangela Jimenez made it 2-0 in the 19^th minute with Fernanda Pena Nieto making 3-0 four minutes later.  Herbst capped the first half scoring for the Lady Crusaders with a goal in the 29^th minute.

Kauany Sousa wasted no time coming out of the break with a goal 20 seconds in.  Azarias made it 6-0 in the 62^nd minute on a ball from Camila Pescatore.  Sousa picked up her second goal of the half in the 73^rd minute with Virginia Mesa and Valeria Barajas tallying the final goals of the contest.

WCU is back in action Friday, as they take on Life University in the SSAC Championship Game.  Kick-off is slated for 4:00 pm at the Emory Folmer YMCA Complex.
