DECATUR, Ala. - #10 William Carey Men's Soccer season came to an end Tuesday afternoon, falling to Rio Grande 4-2, in the NAIA National Championship.

Carey took an early lead, as Sacha Vandersteene headed home a corner kick by Juan Ruiz Cabello in the 4^th minute.  However, the Redstorm evened things up with a goal in the 13^th minute.  Rio Grande took the lead for good with a goal in the 30^th minute.  The Redstorm would go on to take a 4-1 advantage into the break with goals in the 40^th and 42^nd minute.  The Crusaders managed to cut the lead to two on a goal by Djordje Djukovic in the 68^th minute but could get no closer.

WCU finishes the season with a 13-3-3 overall record.
