Pene is a freshman from Christchurch, New Zealand and races the 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke and 100 butterfly. Some of her recent highlights include making finals in her age group and open divisions at nationals, with her best placing being 6th in the 200 backstroke.

Pene will be doing a business degree and is excited for her first year at William Carey University!
