Biography
Marissa is a transfer from New Jersey going into her junior year at William Carey University with a major in Psychology. She spent her freshman year swimming at Rutgers University before transferring to Indian River State College for her sophomore year, where she competed at the NJCAA National Championships. Her main events are the 200 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 50 freestyle, and 1000 freestyle. Her favorite event is the 1000 freestyle because she enjoys the challenge of pushing herself through a long and hard race. She is excited for this next chapter to compete for William Carey!
