Nichakorn “Nicha” Prapsripoom enters her third season as the graduate assistant coach for the William Carey University women’s golf program after an outstanding collegiate career with the Crusaders.
A 2024 William Carey graduate, Prapsripoom earned NAIA All-America honors all four years of her career and established herself as one of the most accomplished golfers in program history. She captured Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) Individual Championships in 2021 and 2024 while also earning SSAC Player of the Year honors both seasons. During her career, she claimed 11 individual tournament titles.
As a freshman in 2021, Prapsripoom was named the NAIA National Freshman of the Year after finishing third at the NAIA National Championship in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She concluded her collegiate career with another impressive national performance, placing fifth at the 2024 NAIA National Championship at TPC Deere Run.
One of the defining moments of her career came during her senior season. After suffering an injury in the fall that required surgery in late October, Prapsripoom returned to competition in February and authored a remarkable comeback. She went on to earn SSAC Player of the Year honors, win two tournament titles, finish fifth nationally, and receive the prestigious Kim Moore Spirit Award as the NAIA Comeback Player of the Year.
Prapsripoom is married to Quintez Warren, and the couple resides in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
