Originally from Lithuania, Nedas Giedraitis has spent the past two years competing at the collegiate level in the United States for Emmanuel University, where he quickly established himself as one of the top butterfly swimmers in the Conference Carolinas. As a freshman, Nedas delivered a breakout season, capturing conference titles in both the 100 fly and 200 fly, with standout times of 48.11 and 1:48.32, respectively — the latter setting a new Conference Carolinas record. He was instrumental in several relays as well, helping lead Emmanuel to a conference championship title. For his outstanding performances and impact, Nedas was named Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year. In his sophomore season, Nedas remained a top competitor, finishing as runner-up in both the 100 fly (48.54) and 200 fly (1:49.04), continuing to contribute at a high level and help drive team success.

Now, Nedas is preparing for the next chapter of his collegiate career as he transfers to William Carey University. With two years of experience and success behind him, he’s excited to join a new team environment, bring leadership and depth to the roster, and contribute to building something special. His goal is to grow as both an athlete and teammate while helping William Carey rise to new heights in the seasons ahead.
