Biography
Miguel Leal is from Brazil and comes from a small town in the state of Paraíba (João Pessoa). During the 2024-2025 season, he obtained 3 personal bests. In 2024, he participated in the Pacific Swimming Cup (South American), obtaining a time of 1:59.97 in the 200-meter freestyle. In 2025, he participated in the Sergio Silva Tournament (Northeast Region Championship), obtaining a time of 16:32.41 in the 1500-meter freestyle.
In May, he participated in the Brazilian Category Swimming Championship, obtaining a time of 4:08.06 in the 400-meter freestyle. In July, he participated in the Milton Meideiros (Championship between the North and Northeast states), obtaining the trophy for the athlete with the best score in the junior category.
