Janos finished his freshman year with the best times in every event he competed in throughout the 24-25 season. He swam in 9 meets in his first year of college including The Sun Conference Championship and the NAIA National Championships. He swam A final at The Sun Conference Championship in 100 breaststroke with the time of 56,26. He was a member of the 800 freestyle relay team that came in 2nd at the Sun Conference Championship which was held in Ocala, Florida.

Janos also earned his All-American title by finishing 8th in the 200 freestyle with the time of 1:38,67 at the NAIA National Championship in Elkhart, Indiana. He was also part of 5 relays (all of them ranked in the top 8) at the NAIA National Championship. The 800 free relay placed 3rd in the nation. Janos concluded his freshman year with a second team All-American performance in the 100 freestyle.
