2024-25: Hunter competed in all eight meets finishing his freshman year with best times in every event he competed in and earned All-American Honors at the NAIA Nationals. He competed at the Delta State Christmas Invitational where he won the 100 Breaststroke with a nationals A cut of 54.60. At that same meet he also swam a best time in the 200 breaststroke, 50 freestyle, and 100 freestyle.

At the NAIA Sun Conference championships he placed 5th in the 100 breaststroke with a 55.82 and also competed in the 200 breaststroke and swam a career best in the 200 IM with a time of 1:55.54. He continued onto the NAIA Nationals in Elkhart, Indiana and swam the 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke, and 200 IM. In the 100 breaststroke A-Final, He swam a time of 55.74 earning 8th place and securing first team All American honors.
