Hattiesburg, Miss.- the William Carey University Athletic Department has announced a new partnership with Athletic Solutions, based out of Kansas City, as the provider for the Crusaders' Official Team Store. This partnership will enable Crusader fans to shop a variety of apparel and accessories.
 
"We are grateful for Mark Erickson and Cody Simkins of Athletic Solutions for their work in making this happen," says Assistant Athletic Director Ben Smith. "With this partnership we will be able to grow the William Carey brand and serve Crusader fans with quality apparel and quality customer service," he added.
 
In addition to the main store, there will be sport-specific options and an NIL opportunity for student athletes at WCU. The NIL Locker Room will give WCU student athletes the chance to sell merchandise with their own name, image, and likeness to Crusader fans. Each student athlete that opts in will receive their own NIL site with the ability to customize their selection for fans. In return they will receive a commission for each sale made on those individual pages.
 
"The ability for our athletes to engage in NIL opportunities in this new college athletics landscape is a big deal," says Smith. "I'm thrilled to partner with Athletic Solutions to help provide them with an avenue to do just that. This is a partnership that shows we are committed to growth and improving the overall student-athlete experience at William Carey," he stated.
