OAKVILLE, Ala. – The William Carey Men's Cross Country Team scored 48 points with a time of 2:10:17 in the 8K event to claim their fourth straight SSAC Conference Championship.
 
Carson Barlow led the way capturing his second individual conference championship with a time 25:33.  Seth Kramlich was right on his heels finishing with a time of 25:39 to take second place.  Also finishing insides the top ten was Gavin Wheat who placed 10^th with a time of 26:03.
 
Nathan Sury placed 17^th with a time of 26:30:45 with Alex Beeler a half step behind coming in with a time of 26:30:56 to place 18^th.  Rounding out the Crusaders were Owen Jensen who finished in 23^rd with a time of 26:56 and Javon Lee who finished in 28:39.
 
William Carey earns a bid to the 2023 NAIA Men's Cross Country National Championship with the victory.
